Major house building goals...

  • Nearly 100% wheelchair accessible.

In general, we like the exterior look of these...

1st Choice

  • SR & MR - Like short single story look of house.
  • SR & MR - Like low pitch look of roof.
  • SR & MR - Like brick/rock combination. Needs more rock.
  • SR & MR - Like arches above windows and doors. Need keystones. Get rid of shutters.
  • SR & MR - Like not having gutters on roof.
  • SR & MR - Don't like pattern in gable end above porch.
  • SR & MR - Don't like little windows.
  • SR & MR - Don't like dormer on left side.
  • SR - Can imagine porch wrapping around right end.
  • MR - Like garage entrance being on side of house. (SR - House needs positioned so sun melts snow and ice on driveway)

2nd Choice

  • SR & MR - Like spread out look.
  • SR & MR - Needs a full rock/brick exterior.
  • SR & MR - Don't like bay window.
  • SR & MR - Don't like dormers above garage.
  • SR & MR - Don't like non-90° angles in floor plan. Creates wasted space.
  • SR - Like garage and front door on same side of house.
  • SR - 3-car garage needs 1 double wide door and 1 single wide door.

3rd Choice

  • SR & MR - Like spread out look.
  • SR & MR - Like look of roof.
  • SR & MR - Like color of rock.
  • SR & MR - Don't like garage door color or its lack of windows.
  • SR & MR - Don't like dormers.
  • SR - Not sure how to add a wrap around porch.
  • MR - Garage doors too close to front door. They look at each other!
  • MR - Don't like cave look of entryway. Too dark.

  • MR - Somewhat like this front door. Stands out and is a double door.

  • SR - Replace lap siding with rock or brick.
  • MR - Like window on gable end of this house.
  • MR - Like detail at top of these porch posts. This would be a 2nd choice to posts on picture #11.

  • SR & MR - Don't like bricks laying at an angle.
  • SR & MR - Don't like chopped off gable end.

  • SR - Like driveway. Plenty of room to back car out of garage and turn around.

  • SR - The small gable end outcropping is a nice way to visually connect the porch and garage.
  • SR - It's not to hard to imagine a hip roof and the porch wrapping around the right side of this house.
  • SR & MR - Don't like white blocks in corners (too chunky) or barbs on gable ends.
